With over two decades of experience, I am a seasoned practitioner specializing in both functional and traditional nutrition. My primary goal is to empower my clients on their wellness journey, guiding them toward success and optimal health.

Utilizing a holistic approach, all of my programs are carefully tailored to address the needs of the whole body, providing clients with comprehensive resources to enhance their well-being and sustain their progress.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of speaking at prestigious universities and nutritional conferences, including the John Muir speaker series, NYU, Columbia, American Dietetic Association, American Homeless Association, and the New Jersey Nutrition Conference. My speaking engagements have focused on emphasizing the critical role of nutrition in overall health.

In the year 2000, I proudly published a children’s book titled “Lili’s Strawberry House,” which reflects my passion for spreading the importance of a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

Aside from my professional achievements, I am a certified Kids’ Yoga instructor through Yoga Karma in NYC, where I thoroughly enjoy teaching yoga to children. As a mother of three, I also cherish practicing yoga together with my own kids, fostering a sense of well-being in the family.

I hold multiple certifications, including being a Licensed Dietitian, Certified Functional Coach, and Integrative Nutritionist. These credentials enable me to offer the highest level of expertise and guidance to my clients.

Q&A Insights: Wisdom from the Experts

Q: As a nutrition expert, could you provide some insight into your background and what motivated you to pursue a career in nutrition?

A: I have been a Registered Dietitian for more than 20 years with certification in Functional Nutrition and certified Coach.  I believe that the integration of the whole body approach helps clients heal and feel better.

Q: What are the most common nutritional challenges you observe among individuals seeking to improve their health or fitness goals?

A: The most nutritional challenge I find amongst my clients is mindset and behavioral change. This is why all our programs are 90 days with a mindset portion to help our clients make that behavioral change.

Q: How do you stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition, and how can other professionals do the same?

A: I like to read and attend different conferences to find out about the most up-to-date nutrition information.  I also look for opportunities to get coached myself so I can constantly improve and provide better support to my clients.

Q: In your experience, what dietary trends or fads do you often encounter, and how do you approach guiding clients away from potentially harmful practices?

A: In my years of experience I have found many fad diets and trends. Recently intermittent fasting and a low-carb diet are the biggest trends in weight loss. I advise my clients against both.  I help my clients feel good by creating customized plans based on scientific tests helping them identify what their body needs.

Q: For personal trainers and fitness experts working with clients on their nutrition, what key pieces of advice do you find most valuable to offer?

A: I would recommend connecting with a Dietitian/ Nutritionist.  This is why in all our programs we have our clients get coached with personal trainers and dietitians to support them better.

Q: How do you assess the unique nutritional needs of clients and tailor your recommendations accordingly?

A: We run different tests to better asses our clients.  A very popular one is a DNA test where we identify the types of exercise and low glycemic foods that supports our clients better. We create customized plans based on results.  We believe a scientific approach is the key to success.

Q: With the abundance of conflicting nutrition information available online, what strategies do you use to help your clients differentiate between credible sources and misinformation?

A: We constantly educate our clients and have weekly calls to help them make good choices. We believe in constant education to create a lifestyle change.

Q: In today’s fast-paced world, how can busy individuals manage their nutrition effectively and make healthier food choices?

A: We all need support, it’s not meant to be done alone.

Q: What are some lesser-known but impactful nutrients or dietary components that you often highlight to clients for overall well-being?

A: I emphasize on logging so clients have better control of their food choices and nutritional balance.

Q: For those looking to enhance their athletic performance through nutrition, what specific dietary approaches or considerations do you recommend?

A: In my years of practice, I feel that a combination of diet and movement helps enhance performance. Especially a balance between carbs and protein.
