2019 is the best year to be in the fitness industry – period. The good news…it’s only going to get better.
At the end of this article, you’re going to be reminded of one of the biggest technological advances coming our way (hint: the internet is going to get faster). It’s our job to ensure we utilize it to our benefit.
But before we go into that, let’s go through some of the reasons why it is a great time to be in the fitness sector.

A very recent report conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services reiterated that only a 1/3 of the population get anywhere near the recommended exercise amount, on very loose numbers.
But interestingly, they have called on employers, the medical care industry, your sports leaders and technology companies to help people get more active.
Expect more employers incorporating health plans and rewards for their staff to get into shape, more federal assistance and fitness experts to have much more of a say in people’s well-being.
Employee wellness programs are going to be on the rise. Companies are understanding that an active employee is a healthy one so fitness is a benefit that more and more companies are deploying than ever before.

We are now living in the digital age. The best age for aspiring businesses.
The biggest hurdle for all types of businesses is getting customers. That has now been made so easy, all down to the wonderful invention since the wheel, the internet.
We can use the internet to get extremely targeted in customer acquisition and expand any business. Making it easier for you to become though leaders in the space – as long as you really, truly love what you do.

Now we have numerous ways to save time – we have online calendars , we have smart phones in our pockets, and with 5G just around the corner our phones are going to get even better. Use technology to wow your customers.
There are companies like peloton coming out, but 9 out of 10 people we have talked to: prefer a human connection rather than training by themselves. As long as fitness businesses have a steady flow of communication fitness businesses are just going to excel.

Businesses can communicate with clients on the go, using any device from anywhere. Most big chains gyms have complimentary wi-fi, which is provided users to access the internet for Apps (Spotify, YouTube, MyFitnessPal etc.) but how many issues do clients have logging onto their devices within a gym facility.
5G will allow users to stream rich media, like websites in a click of a few buttons.
Reliability will also be a huge plus but for the fitness industry, as the speed
